🌍🔬 Exciting Update from the KNOWING Project! 📢

We are thrilled to share that the KNOWING project conducted a highly productive External Expert Advisory Board (EEAB) Online Workshop. This workshop brought together a diverse group of 16 experienced experts, representing various sectors and areas of expertise such as finance, climate sciences, agriculture, transport, energy, and more.

The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce the KNOWING project and provide an opportunity for board members to offer their invaluable feedback and insights on the project’s progress thus far. We focused on exploring the climate-related risks faced by different sectors and the crucial adaptation and mitigation measures that can be implemented. Additionally, we delved into the associated risks and opportunities arising from these actions. The workshop generated a captivating discussion and yielded valuable feedback, which we will integrate into our ongoing project approach and results. Notably, discussions revolved around the inclusion of biodiversity in response risks and opportunities, as well as considering the psychological and financial implications of adaptation and mitigation measures. As the project progresses, the EEAB will continue to grow and be involved in all aspects of KNOWING over the next three years. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the members of the External Expert Advisory Board for their valuable contributions and look forward to further collaboration and progress in the KNOWING project. Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards a resilient and sustainable future!
